Dr. Michael Huy Khiem Nguyen is an oncologist and hematologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. He is devoted to helping his patients fight cancer with the most advanced therapies.
Biography
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Southern California and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. He volunteered teaching English to elementary students before attending medical school in Philadelphia at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his internal medicine residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco before finishing fellowship in hematology and oncology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Nguyen uses a multifaceted approach to cancer care for his patients and their needs, rather than focusing only on their illness. He has won several awards and honors including the Healing Hands Award at Loma Linda Medical Center. Dr. Nguyen has published several peer reviewed journal articles and abstracts.
